Employment Advisor – Support People with Disabilities into Work

About the role

We are recruiting four Employment Specialists to help people with disabilities and long‑term health conditions find sustainable employment. The role is community‑based, involving meeting participants and employers across Croydon and the South East.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a small caseload of participants, supporting CV writing, job applications and interview preparation.
• Create SMART action plans and help participants move into work quickly.
• Build and maintain relationships with local employers to identify suitable vacancies.
• Provide ongoing in‑work support to ensure sustained employment.
• Collaborate with NHS teams, local authorities and community partners.

Required profile

• Experience as an Employment Advisor, Employment Specialist, Job Coach or in B2B/B2C sales (e.g., recruitment).
• Graduates in Psychology, Criminology, Sociology, Health & Social Care with sales or vulnerable‑person support experience are welcome.
• Organised, resilient, relationship‑focused and motivated to help people achieve their goals.

• Experience building employer relationships.
