Employment Consultant – IPS Specialist for Mental Health Charity

About the role

We are seeking an Employment Consultant to join a national charity supporting people with mental health conditions, disabilities and other barriers to sustainable employment. The role is community‑based, covering Harrow and surrounding boroughs, and involves working with Job Centres, NHS services and local partners to help individuals move towards work.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with job seekers, employers, Job Centres and health services.
• Assess individual goals and develop personalised employment plans.
• Deliver IPS (Individual Placement and Support) training and guidance.
• Meet placement targets and manage your own diary across multiple community sites.
• Record activity and outcomes in line with charity reporting standards.

Required profile

• At least 12 months experience in B2B sales, recruitment, account management or business development.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Comfortable working to targets and managing an independent workload.
• Genuine interest in mental health, employability or the charity sector.
• Degree‑level education preferred.
• Organised, resilient and able to work independently.
