Employment Counsel – French Labor Relations Specialist

About the role

Teads is seeking an Employment Counsel to lead French labour relations and support its broader employment law agenda across EMEA. Based in London, you will work autonomously in a fast‑moving, international environment, providing decisive legal advice and overseeing the company’s compliance with French labour regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Preside over Comité Social et Économique (CSE) meetings in France, set agendas, and manage all required documentation in line with French law.
• Lead negotiations with employee representatives and trade unions, maintaining a constructive social climate while protecting company interests.
• Monitor global legal developments, standardise employment contracts and separation agreements, and develop compliant policies and training materials.
• Provide pragmatic advice on employee grievances, investigations, terminations, and regional litigation, coordinating with external counsel as needed.
• Track AI, workplace technology, and data‑privacy regulations across EMEA and support the legal implementation of AI‑driven HR tools.

Required profile

• Self‑starter comfortable working independently and managing competing priorities.
• Strong expertise in French labour law and experience presiding over CSE or similar bodies.
• Ability to collaborate with HR, privacy, and product teams on cross‑functional initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills in English and French.
