About the role

Richard Nelson LLP is seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor to join its growing Employment Law team. The role offers a hybrid working model (Nottingham office or remote) and focuses on representing claimants – employees facing workplace difficulties – across a broad range of sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of employment matters from inception to conclusion.
• Draft legal documents, policies, settlement agreements and correspondence.
• Conduct legal research and provide commercially sound advice.
• Represent clients in disputes, grievances, tribunals and advisory hearings.
• Maintain high professional standards and cost‑effective work practices.
• Utilise time‑recording systems and IT tools efficiently.
• Contribute to business development and the firm’s reputation.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with solid experience in employment law, particularly claimant matters.
• Ability to handle a diverse caseload and work independently.
• Strong analytical and commercial judgment.
• Commitment to the firm’s values of integrity, expertise, and tenacity.
