Employment Litigation Counsel – EMEA

About the role

Join TikTok’s Global Legal team as an Employment Litigation Counsel focused on the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. You will lead employment dispute matters, primarily in the United Kingdom and Ireland, and work closely with the Global Head of Employment Litigation and senior counsel.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all phases of employment disputes across EMEA, including risk assessment, litigation strategy, and coordination of external counsel.
• Oversee e‑discovery, fact‑finding, witness preparation, and hearing presentation.
• Collaborate with investigative teams to ensure thorough investigations of employment‑related issues.
• Provide legal compliance advice on employment law matters.
• Develop and maintain internal processes and policies to handle a growing litigation caseload efficiently.
• Produce case reporting and real‑time data insights.
• Design and deliver training on global employment law topics as needed.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer in the UK and/or Ireland with experience before the UK employment tribunals or the Workplace Relations Commission in Ireland.
• Extensive employment law background in both private practice at a top‑tier firm and a corporate legal department.
• Proven ability to manage investigations and employment disputes through all litigation stages.
• Strong judgment, personal integrity, and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional legal writing and communication abilities.
