Employment Paralegal

About the role

Our client, a reputable firm in Stockport, is seeking an Employment Paralegal to support a respondent‑focused caseload covering both contentious and non‑contentious matters. You will gain exposure to high‑quality work and the opportunity to build long‑term client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct matters on behalf of clients in line with SRA Code of Conduct.
• Support fee earners by preparing case assessments, drafting documents and forms, and liaising with clients and tribunals.
• Attend tribunal hearings to provide support and take notes.
• Carry out legal research for ongoing matters.
• Prepare hearing and disclosure bundles, organise documents and assemble files under supervision.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless client service.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months’ experience in employment law.
• Experience working as a Paralegal within the legal sector.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organisational ability and high attention to detail.

What we offer

• Salary £25,000‑£30,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
• Full‑time permanent role, Monday‑Friday 9am‑5pm with a one‑hour lunch break.
