Employment & Skills Trainer

About the role
We are looking for an Employment & Skills Trainer to join Reed in Partnership’s Employability Division. The role will be based in Hertford (covering Stevenage) and will support adult jobseekers through the Restart Scheme, helping them develop the skills needed to secure sustainable employment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and deliver high‑quality employability training sessions covering CV writing, interview techniques and job‑goal setting.
- Maintain a professional classroom environment and ensure training materials are up‑to‑date.
- Promote courses to internal and external stakeholders to maximise participation.
- Assess participant progress, provide feedback to Employment Advisers and report attendance and achievements.
- Collaborate with Employment Advisers to match participants with suitable courses.
Required profile
- Passion for helping individuals overcome barriers to employment.
- Experience delivering training or coaching to adult learners.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of training delivery.
