Employment Solicitor (4+ PQE) – Manchester

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor to join our growing Litigation & Employment (LEI) team in Manchester city centre. The role is full‑time with a hybrid working model, allowing you to work both from the office and remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a steady flow of respondent employment claims, providing strategic advice and representation.
• Handle mixed civil litigation matters, including employment cases, and develop a dedicated employment law practice.
• Conduct case assessments, draft pleadings, attend hearings and negotiate settlements.
• Collaborate with senior partners to support the firm’s expansion plans.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with at least 4 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in employment law or a mixed civil litigation practice that includes employment work.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently on respondent matters and to develop a client base.
• Strong analytical and advocacy skills with a commercial mindset.
