Employment Solicitor (5+ PQE)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor to join our highly regarded team in Hertfordshire. The role offers the chance to work on a diverse range of contentious and non‑contentious matters for employers, senior executives and HR professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload including Employment Tribunal litigation, disciplinary and grievance matters, discrimination and whistleblowing claims.
• Handle redundancy, restructuring projects, TUPE transfers and strategic workforce planning.
• Provide commercially focused, pragmatic advice to clients across all aspects of employment law.
• Contribute to business development, networking and raising the profile of the Employment team.

Required profile

• 5+ years post‑qualification experience with strong expertise in both contentious and non‑contentious employment law.
• Excellent technical knowledge, advocacy, drafting and negotiation abilities.
• Strong commercial awareness and a commitment to exceptional client care.
• Experience in business development and client relationship management; an existing client following is advantageous but not essential.
