Employment Solicitor – 7+ PQE, Oxfordshire

About the role

The Legists are seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor to join their growing employment team in Oxfordshire. You will work on both contentious and non‑contentious matters for corporate and education sector clients, providing high‑quality legal advice and representing clients in Employment Tribunals.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on a wide range of employment law issues, both advisory and litigation.
• Manage Employment Tribunal cases from inception to resolution.
• Deliver client training sessions, seminars and legal updates.
• Support business development initiatives and contribute to practice growth.
• Mentor and supervise junior lawyers.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in a reputable firm with a strong employment practice.
• Proven track record of delivering excellent client service and building long‑term relationships.
• Demonstrated business development ability, including winning new work.
• Experience supervising junior lawyers and delivering client training.

Required skills

• Deep technical expertise in UK employment law.
• Strong litigation skills, particularly in Employment Tribunal matters.
• Commercially focused advisory ability.
