About the role
Richard Nelson LLP is seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor to join its growing Employment Law team. The role will involve representing both employees and employers across a wide range of sectors, with a particular focus on claimant matters.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a varied caseload of employment matters from inception to conclusion.
- Draft legal documents, policies, and correspondence.
- Conduct legal research and provide commercially sound advice.
- Represent clients in disputes, grievances, settlement agreements, tribunals and advocacy hearings.
- Maintain high professional standards and cost‑effective work practices.
- Utilise time‑recording systems and IT tools efficiently.
- Contribute to business development and the firm’s reputation.
Required profile
- Qualified solicitor with solid experience in employment law.
- Proven ability to handle claimant matters and represent professionals in regulated sectors.
- Strong analytical and commercial judgement.
- Commitment to the firm’s values of integrity, expertise and approachability.
