Employment Solicitor – Hybrid in Kent

About the role

The firm is seeking an Employment Solicitor to join its regional Employment Law team in Kent. The position offers a hybrid working model, allowing you to split time between the office and remote work while handling a diverse portfolio of employment matters.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advice and representation on both contentious and non‑contentious employment issues for multinational corporations, public sector bodies, SMEs, healthcare providers, schools and charities.
• Collaborate closely with HR consultants to deliver integrated legal and HR advisory services.
• Draft and review employment contracts, policies, disciplinary and grievance procedures.
• Manage litigation, tribunal proceedings and settlement negotiations.
• Maintain strong client relationships with a focus on commercial awareness and responsiveness.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor in England & Wales.
• Between NQ and 5 years post‑qualification experience in employment law.
• Demonstrated technical ability and a client‑focused approach.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
