Employment Solicitor – Leeds (4+ PQE)

About the role

An established law firm in Leeds is seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor (4+ PQE) to join its growing Employment department. You will manage a varied caseload of both claimant and respondent matters while contributing to the department’s strategic development.

Key responsibilities

• Handle unfair dismissal, discrimination, settlement agreements and tribunal proceedings.
• Draft and review contracts of employment, service agreements and redundancy advice.
• Provide disciplinary, grievance and general HR advisory services to business clients.
• Manage cases from instruction to conclusion with support from a dedicated paralegal or trainee.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to strengthen client relationships and drive department growth.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with at least 4 years post‑qualification experience in employment law.
• Proven ability to manage a full caseload independently.
• Ambitious and motivated to take ownership of projects and develop the practice.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and senior management.
