Employment Solicitor – Leeds (NQ)

About the role

We are seeking a newly qualified Employment Solicitor to join our well‑established employment law team in Leeds. This advisory‑focused position offers exposure to a broad range of contentious and non‑contentious employment matters, allowing you to develop practical, commercially‑driven expertise from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Handle disciplinary, grievance and dismissal cases.
• Manage discrimination claims and other contentious employment disputes.
• Draft and review employment contracts and related documentation.
• Provide practical, commercially focused advice to clients via telephone and email.
• Support a diverse client base across multiple sectors.

Required profile

• Recently qualified solicitor (NQ) with a genuine interest in employment law.
• Strong communication skills and a commercial approach to client service.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
