Employment Solicitor (NQ+)

About the role

We are seeking a newly qualified Employment Solicitor to join a well‑established employment team in Greater Manchester. The role offers the chance to work on a diverse mix of contentious and non‑contentious matters for both business and individual clients, providing high‑quality legal advice and strong client exposure.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied employment law caseload, advising on workplace issues.
• Draft and review employment contracts, policies and procedures.
• Support clients with disciplinary, grievance and redundancy matters, including TUPE.
• Assist with Employment Tribunal claims and related proceedings.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to deliver seamless client service.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through responsive advice.

Required profile

• Newly qualified (NQ) solicitor or solicitor with experience in employment law.
• Proven ability to handle both contentious and non‑contentious employment matters.
• Strong technical knowledge of employment legislation combined with commercial awareness.
• Excellent communication, client care and organisational skills.
• Proactive, able to work independently and as part of a supportive team.
