Employment Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an Employment Specialist to join Seetec’s Connect to Work team in St Austell. In this full-time position you will support individuals with disabilities or health conditions to secure sustainable, paid employment using a person‑centred approach.

Key responsibilities

• Identify suitable job opportunities that match each participant’s abilities and aspirations.
• Provide tailored guidance, interview preparation and job‑search strategies to help clients obtain long‑term employment.
• Build and maintain relationships with referral partners, local employers and other stakeholders.
• Monitor labour‑market trends in the region and advise on realistic employment options.
• Maintain accurate case records and ensure service delivery meets contractual and quality standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience supporting people with multiple and complex needs, especially learning disabilities.
• Strong understanding of the local labour market in South West England.
• Track record of working in target‑driven environments and meeting performance targets.
• Commitment to diversity, inclusion and delivering high‑quality outcomes.

What we offer

• Competitive salary of £33,000 per annum.
