About the role
Apple’s GPU Hardware Tech team is seeking an Emulation Engineer to help build and run emulation models for next‑generation graphics processors. You will work closely with verification, design, and software groups to ensure functional, performance, and power validation of GPU designs before silicon.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain emulation models and test benches for Apple GPUs.
- Run, debug, and analyze test cases, resolving environment and waveform issues.
- Collaborate with emulation vendors to optimise resource usage.
- Create automation infrastructure to streamline emulation workflows.
- Design verification IP that supports new GPU features and HW/SW co‑verification.
Required profile
- Strong background in RTL verification and test‑bench development.
- Experience debugging design issues using waveforms.
- Ability to work across multiple teams and communicate technical findings.
- Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
