Enablement & Project Support Internship – 12.5 months

About the role

The 12.5‑month Enablement & Project Support Placement starts on 16 August 2027 at Airbus Broughton, North Wales. You will work within the Supply and Support business, gaining hands‑on experience of wing‑panel manufacturing, process enablement and future rate‑ramp planning while developing project management skills.

Key responsibilities

• Support lineside enablement teams and operational staff in wing manufacture, learning processes and procedures.
• Attend high‑level reviews, produce progress reports, KPIs and delivery measures, and identify continuous‑improvement opportunities.
• Lead end‑to‑end improvement projects, analysing data to deliver measurable benefits.
• Develop and maintain a risk and opportunity tracker, contribute to build‑rate increase plans and help shape a 10‑year department vision.

Required profile

• Undergraduate studying a relevant Business or related degree, with graduation after the placement.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities, confident in a demanding operational environment.
• Motivated, organised, proactive and able to spot risks and opportunities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.).
• Basic data analysis capability to identify improvement opportunities.
