Enforcement Agent – Bristol

About the role

The role involves acting as a certificated Enforcement Agent for a designated area in and around Bristol, visiting customers' homes and businesses to recover debts on behalf of clients.

Key responsibilities

• Visit customers' premises and negotiate professionally to maximise recoveries.
• Take payments, set up payment arrangements and complete income questionnaires.
• Seize goods when necessary, always complying with regulations.
• Maintain accurate case notes, visit reports and payment records.
• Identify vulnerable customers, adapt approach and follow referral pathways.

Required profile

• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Confidence handling difficult and sensitive conversations.
• Calm, firm and fair attitude with a target‑driven mindset.
• Good time‑management and self‑organisation.
• Full UK manual driving licence, no CCJs or criminal record.

Required skills

• Ability to talk to anyone and listen actively.
• Respectful treatment of people and sound judgement.
