Engineering Geologist

About the role

This permanent role is with a leading geotechnical contractor, offering specialist training and clear progression pathways. You will be responsible for delivering ground investigation projects across the UK, developing both technical and commercial expertise while working on a variety of sites.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise ground investigation and geotechnical works on site.
• Oversee drilling, sampling, testing and logging activities.
• Manage health and safety, quality assurance and overall project delivery.
• Coordinate resources and ensure projects are completed safely, on time and to specification.
• Travel regionally with occasional work away from base.

Required profile

• Degree qualified in Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in ground investigation, geotechnical engineering or engineering geology.
• Experience supervising site activities and managing teams.
• Full UK driving licence.
