About the role
LSEG is recruiting engineers for its Engineering Graduate Programme, starting in September 2027, based in Nottingham. The Engineering roles span software and platform, reliability, quality, cyber security, service operations, service management, financial engineering and data science.
Key responsibilities
- Take part in a 12-month programme with a global induction on LSEG, financial markets and the business, and an Engineering Bootcamp week.
- Work on group projects aligned to LSEG goals and meet the cohort at the mid-point Ignite skills offsite.
- Earn industry-recognized qualifications, including 5 study days during the programme.
- Contribute to wider society through CSR initiatives and volunteering.
- Transition into a permanent engineering role once the programme is complete.

- Genuine curiosity about technology, shown through studies, extracurriculars or work experience; candidates outside the core software degrees (e.g. physics, engineering, electronics) can apply if they show an interest in technology.
- Demonstrable interest in financial markets, data analysis and strategic thinking.
- Ideal candidates have the right to work in the UK without restrictions.
What we offer
- A hybrid working model: time in the office with flexible working.
- A comprehensive benefits portfolio covering financial, emotional and physical wellbeing.
- Opportunities to earn industry-recognized qualifications and to join a global early careers community.
The application closes on 16 November, but early application is recommended as candidates are considered on a rolling basis. The process includes an online application, a technical and coding assessment, an immersive online assessment, a video interview and a virtual half-day assessment centre.
