Engineering Manager

About the role

This is a hands‑on leadership position within a fast‑paced, international manufacturing environment. You will lead a team of Shift Engineers, ensuring that all engineering activity supports safe, high‑quality product delivery while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the engineering team to meet site priorities.
• Ensure all work complies with health, safety, food safety, GMP and HACCP standards.
• Drive preventative maintenance, reliability programmes and effective use of CMMS.
• Support audits, customer visits and technical requirements for plant and equipment.
• Manage contractors, guaranteeing safe and efficient execution of work.
• Monitor KPIs, report performance and identify efficiency improvements.
• Control engineering costs through optimal use of labour, spares and external services.
• Promote collaboration, accountability and a culture of continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven engineering leader with experience in a regulated manufacturing setting.
• Strong people‑management and stakeholder‑influence skills.
• Solution‑focused mindset with a track record of delivering operational results.

Required skills

• Experience with CMMS systems.
• Knowledge of GMP and HACCP standards.
