Engineering Shift Technician

About the role

As a Multi‑Skilled Technician you will join the Engineering Team at FBC UK’s Livingston bakery, delivering reliable engineering support to keep production running smoothly. You will work a 3‑shift rotation, ensuring safety, quality and hygiene standards are consistently met.

Key responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance activities according to the CMMS schedule.
• Respond to and repair breakdowns promptly to minimise production loss.
• Record all actions taken and flag any further actions required.
• Undertake training to expand technical knowledge and maintain high service levels.
• Train colleagues so they can safely and effectively perform their duties.

Required profile

• Multi‑skilled technician with experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to work a rotating 3‑shift pattern (days, nights, backs).
• Commitment to safety, quality and hygiene standards.
• Proactive attitude towards learning and sharing knowledge.

Required skills

• Experience using a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
