Engineering & Stores Administrator – Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for an Engineering & Stores Administrator to become a central hub within a busy manufacturing engineering department. You will ensure engineers have the spare parts, information and maintenance plans they need to keep production running efficiently. The role offers a mix of stock control, purchasing and maintenance support in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage engineering spare parts and stock control.
• Raise purchase orders and work closely with suppliers.
• Maintain the CMMS and support maintenance planning.
• Assist with preventative maintenance scheduling.
• Produce engineering reports and KPI information.
• Support the Engineering Manager with day‑to‑day department tasks.
• Ensure engineering documentation is accurate and audit‑ready.

Required profile

• Experience within a manufacturing, engineering, industrial or production environment.
• Previous administration, purchasing, procurement, stores or planning experience.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Good IT skills, especially Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Experience using a CMMS or ERP system is advantageous but not essential.
