Engineering Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for an Engineering Supervisor to join our depot in Keighley. You will lead a team of engineers, electricians and body repairers to keep our bus fleet safe, reliable and ready for daily service. The role combines technical oversight with people management to ensure high standards of vehicle maintenance and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Supervising the maintenance, servicing and repair of our bus fleet
• Leading a team of engineers, electricians and body repairers
• Planning shifts and supporting on‑call arrangements
• Driving high standards of vehicle reliability and presentation
• Ensuring vehicles consistently exceed DVSA standards
• Supporting a strong MOT pass rate and overall engineering performance
• Monitoring engineering budgets and resources

Required profile

• A Level 3 NVQ qualification or equivalent City & Guilds qualification
• Full driving licence (PCV licence or willingness to obtain one)
• Experience working within a vehicle maintenance environment
• Confidence to lead, motivate and support a team
