Engineering Tools & Processes Advisor – Edgewing

About the role

The Engineering Tools & Processes Advisor will join the Edgewing joint venture, supporting digital engineering teams and engineering SMEs. You will ensure that people, processes and tools are aligned with programme requirements, driving continuous improvement across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary interface between Digital Engineering teams and Engineering SMEs to facilitate cross‑functional collaboration.
• Implement engineering processes and toolsets in line with programme schedules and capability requirements.
• Support the development, optimisation and integration of engineering toolchains and workflows to improve efficiency.
• Drive process improvement and workflow automation, promoting standardised ways of working.
• Monitor tool and process performance using metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Contribute to establishing effective ways of working for the new joint venture from its inception.

Required profile

• Experience in an aerospace, defence or engineering environment.
• Knowledge of engineering IT tools and processes, preferably within a systems engineering context.
• Understanding of the full engineering lifecycle.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across multiple organisations.
• Proven experience supporting process improvement and tool implementation initiatives.
