About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic English Graduate Teaching Assistant to join an outstanding secondary school in Islington for the full academic year (September 2026 – July 2027). This role offers hands‑on classroom experience, supporting students across Year 7 to Sixth Form in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide in‑class support to pupils who need additional help with English.
- Deliver targeted small‑group interventions for Year 7‑11 students.
- Assist Sixth Form learners with advanced English skills.
- Support teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
- Help raise attainment and confidence in English across the school.
Required profile
