About the role

An exciting opportunity for an English Teacher to join a Further Education College and deliver engaging GCSE English provision. You will plan and deliver high‑quality lessons that support learners in developing their English skills and achieving strong outcomes. The role involves teaching GCSE‑level English across a range of abilities and supporting students throughout their studies.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high‑quality GCSE English lessons.
• Teach across a range of learner abilities in a Further Education setting.
• Contribute to an engaging learning environment.
• Provide ongoing support to students throughout their courses.

Required profile

• Experience teaching English at GCSE level within an FE, secondary or similar educational setting.
• A relevant English qualification and a recognised teaching qualification.
• Strong classroom management and ability to engage learners of varying abilities.
• Committed and enthusiastic approach to teaching and supporting student progress.
