About the role
We are partnering with an outstanding SEMH secondary school in Peckham to hire a dedicated English specialist for the September 2026 start date. This temporary full‑time position focuses on one‑to‑one GCSE English tuition, offering a more personalised teaching environment.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver one‑to‑one English lessons to secondary students.
- Prepare and teach GCSE‑level English curriculum.
- Maintain a daily schedule from 09:30 to 16:00, with contact time between 10:00 and 14:00.
- Work 4 or 5 days per week, based on school needs.
Required profile
- Qualified English teacher with experience in secondary education.
- Comfortable working in a SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) setting.
- Available to start in September 2026.
