English Teacher – Full‑Time Secondary School

About the role

We are looking for a passionate English Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Smethwick. This full‑time position offers the chance to inspire learners in Key Stages 3 and 4 and contribute to a vibrant academic community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons for KS3 & KS4 students.
• Use innovative teaching methods to foster curiosity and critical thinking.
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate performance records.
• Collaborate with colleagues to build a cohesive learning environment.
• Complete marking duties and uphold school reporting standards.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong commitment to student success and education.
