English Teacher (Full‑time/Part‑time)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated English Teacher to join our 11‑16 secondary school in Woking for the September 2026 start. The role can be full‑time or part‑time (four days a week) and offers the chance to work with confident, eager learners in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging English lessons for students aged 11‑16.
• Contribute to the development of innovative teaching and learning strategies.
• Collaborate with a highly successful English department and wider school staff.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in departmental meetings.

Required profile

• Qualified to teach English in secondary schools (QTS or equivalent).
• Enthusiastic, energetic and committed to student success.
• Willingness to work at any career stage, from early‑career teachers to experienced professionals.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of English curriculum and assessment standards.
• Ability to use interactive LED screens and other classroom technologies.
