Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging English lessons up to GCSE level.
• Adapt teaching methods to cater for a range of abilities and learning styles.
• Maintain a positive classroom environment and manage behaviour effectively.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants, support staff and fellow teachers.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent; overseas qualified teachers are welcome.
• Passion for English literature and language with a creative approach to teaching.
• Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
