English Teacher – KS4/KS5 (Full‑time)

About the role

Prospero Teaching is partnering with a supportive secondary school in Bromley to recruit an English Teacher for KS4 and KS5. The role is full‑time, starts as soon as possible and is open to newly qualified teachers (NQT) as well as experienced staff.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess English lessons for years 10‑13 (KS4/KS5).
• Contribute to the department’s curriculum development and share best practices.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions and school events.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• PGCE, SCITT or Teach First qualification is desirable.
• Positive, committed and versatile attitude towards teaching.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a successful department.
