English Teacher – Secondary Schools (Full‑time/Part‑time)

About the role

Join Tradewind Recruitment as an English Teacher in Stockton‑on‑Tees. The role involves delivering English lessons across secondary schools, with immediate start and flexible working patterns.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons for KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience advantageous).
• Differentiate work to support students of varying abilities.
• Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) or strong further education English teaching experience.
• Experience teaching English within a secondary school setting.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English education.
• Proactive and adaptable attitude.
• Valid DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
• Two professional references covering the last two years.
