English Teacher – Secondary Schools (Temporary)

About the role
We are looking for a qualified English teacher to deliver secondary‑school English lessons across several schools in Sevenoaks from September to December 2026. The role is full‑time and temporary, offering the chance to gain varied classroom experience within a supportive recruitment agency.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Adapt teaching methods to suit different school environments and student needs.
- Mark and assess student work, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain a positive classroom atmosphere and manage behaviour according to school policies.
- Collaborate with school staff to support student progress and wellbeing.
- Uphold safeguarding standards at all times.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge in English.
- Ability to work across multiple schools and adapt quickly.
- Willingness to obtain an Enhanced DBS disclosure and any necessary overseas police clearances.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
