About the role
We are seeking a qualified English Teacher to join a vibrant SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) school in Dudley. The role starts in September 2026 and offers the chance to inspire a love of literature and language in small, specialised classes.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver tailored English lessons for students with SEMH needs.
- Manage classroom behaviour using a range of de‑escalation techniques.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants, LSAs and senior staff to support each learner.
- Participate in whole‑school activities, reward days and extra‑curricular events.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in English.
- Experience teaching small groups of students with SEMH requirements.
- Commitment to high standards of pupil achievement and well‑being.
