About the role
We are looking for a passionate English Teacher to join our high‑achieving secondary department in Caterham, starting September 2026. The role involves delivering engaging lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils, with the option to teach Key Stage 5.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high‑quality English lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 optional).
- Adapt teaching methods to suit a range of learning styles and abilities.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the department’s curriculum development and enrichment activities.
Required profile
- Passionate about English language and literature.
- Committed to fostering enthusiasm and confidence in students.
- Experienced in teaching the KS3 and KS4 English curriculum.
- Qualified with QTS or an Early Careers Teacher (ECT) status.
