Entry-Level Accountant – Remote (UK/Poland)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented, motivated entry‑level Accountant (or Finance Assistant) to join our Finance team. The role supports accounting and compliance across multiple legal entities for Hudson Talent Solutions and can be performed remotely from England, Scotland or Poland, with optional use of our Edinburgh or Warsaw offices.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day accounting activities across seven legal entities in the region.
• Assist with financial reporting, reconciliations and month‑end processes.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Support audit preparation and documentation requirements.
• Collaborate with the wider Finance team to manage workload volumes effectively.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of finance processes and controls.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a finance or accounting role (including internships or placements) is desirable.
• Studying towards or interested in pursuing an accounting qualification (e.g., AAT, ACCA, CIMA).
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Proactive, reliable and eager to learn.
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Strong Excel skills.
• Familiarity with finance systems (advantageous).
