Entry-Level Data Analyst – FinTech

About the role

Sphere is looking for an entry‑level Data Analyst to ensure the accuracy of our commodity‑trading data and help train our AI‑driven platform. You will work closely with engineering and product teams, gaining autonomy while receiving extensive training and support.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed test cases to train the Natural Language Processing (NLP) engine used by major commodity traders.
• Identify and report bugs missed by automated tests, gaining exposure to the oil‑trading sector.
• Create test cases based on user stories and ensure they align with product requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to deliver high‑quality trading solutions.

Required profile

• Numerically minded with a degree in mathematics, statistics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset, able to turn data into concise, actionable outputs.
• Excellent verbal communication and teamwork skills.
• Genuine interest in fintech, technology, and AI.

Required skills

• Python programming
• Matlab (or similar analytical tools)
