Entry-Level IT Field Engineer – Full Training Provided

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to start a career as an IT Field Engineer. No prior IT experience is required – full training will be provided and you will work on customer sites across the UK. The role is ideal for anyone with a passion for technology and a willingness to travel.

Key responsibilities

• Visit customer locations to install, repair or troubleshoot IT hardware and peripherals.
• Set up and configure devices such as desktops, laptops, printers and routers.
• Replace and upgrade components including memory, hard drives, screens and power supplies.
• Carry out routine maintenance and health checks on IT equipment.
• Follow technical guides and documentation to complete tasks accurately.
• Provide clear updates to the IT Support Desk and keep customers informed of progress.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic about technology and eager to build a long‑term IT career.
• Willingness to travel to multiple sites and own a UK driving licence.
• Practical, hands‑on attitude – DIY or similar experience is a plus.
• Ex‑military background is highly desirable.
