About the role

Join a fast‑moving quantitative research team focused on high‑frequency trading. Working closely with an experienced Quant Strategist, you will apply your PhD‑level expertise to design, develop and optimise trading models across multiple asset classes.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop high‑frequency trading systems using C++ or Java.
• Gather, store and analyse large data sets to support model optimisation.
• Collaborate with senior Quant Strategist to refine existing strategies.
• Contribute original strategy ideas as experience grows.
• Learn about multiple asset classes and high‑frequency trading techniques.

Required profile

• PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Signal Processing, Data Mining, Operations Research or a related quantitative discipline from a top‑tier university.
• Strong academic record with demonstrated quantitative or technical achievements.
• Research experience in academia or a research lab.
• Intellectual curiosity for quantitative finance and a process‑driven problem‑solving approach.
