About the role
The Recruiting Coordinator supports Oliver Wyman’s UK hiring engine from the Newcastle office, delivering a high‑quality end‑to‑end recruitment experience for entry‑level and experienced candidates. The role ensures operational excellence across candidate management, interview coordination, and onboarding while acting as a professional ambassador for the firm.
Key responsibilities
- Screen applications for entry‑level and internship positions, ensuring alignment with role requirements.
- Coordinate assessment centres and interviews, schedule multiple rounds, liaise with interviewers and Executive Assistants, and arrange candidate travel and expenses.
- Collect, coordinate, and track interview feedback to enable timely hiring decisions.
- Maintain and update recruiting systems and databases (Workday), ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
- Support and participate in recruitment events, manage logistics, travel to campuses, and represent Oliver Wyman at career fairs.
- Prepare and issue contracts and offer letters in line with firm processes.
- Coordinate onboarding and background checks for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition.
- Act as a key point of contact for Human Capital Operations and Global Mobility, supporting cross‑team coordination.
- Manage candidate communications and the UK Recruiting inbox, delivering a professional, responsive candidate experience.
Required profile
- Up to 2 years of experience in a recruitment function, preferably entry‑level or campus recruitment.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a multicultural environment.
Required skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Experience using Workday or similar recruiting systems.
- General IT systems proficiency.
