Environmental, Health & Safety Advisor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Advisor to join a global industry‑leading business in Bristol. This autonomous position offers the chance to shape the EHS function, lead technical initiatives and eventually build and manage a dedicated team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead by example and champion EHS standards daily.
• Promote a safe and healthy work environment across all sites.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all EHS matters.
• Lead incident investigations and drive corrective actions.
• Oversee vehicle and driver fleet management to ensure full compliance.
• Administer existing safety accreditations and progress towards ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification.
• Ensure statutory compliance for environment, health, safety and welfare.

Required profile

• NEBOSH General Certificate (essential) and preferably NEBOSH National Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, semiconductor, warehousing or similar industrial settings.
• Flexible, conscientious attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
• Desire to move into a managerial role and build a long‑term team.
