Environmental Internship

About the role

Subsea7’s Group Environmental team is offering a 12‑week summer internship for students or recent graduates in Environmental Science, Sustainability or related fields. The placement runs from June to September 2026 in Aberdeen and provides hands‑on experience in environmental management within a global offshore energy business.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day environmental management activities across the business.
• Assist with environmental reporting, data collection and analysis.
• Contribute to research projects and sustainability initiatives.
• Work alongside experienced professionals to understand offshore environmental practices.
• Help produce internal and external communications, including environmental messaging and marketing outputs where relevant.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in the 3rd, 4th or 5th year of university studies, or a recent graduate.
• Strong enthusiasm for environmental management and sustainability.
• Effective organisational, research and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate, gather information from various sources and work both independently and as part of a team.
• Self‑motivated, initiative‑taking and eager to learn.
• Available to work full‑time in Aberdeen between June and September 2026.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
