Environmental Manager

About the role

As Environmental Manager you will lead the delivery of environmental performance across the UK division of a leading facilities and infrastructure services provider. Working closely with senior environmental leads and operational teams you will ensure that environmental systems, reporting and targets are robust, transparent and continuously improving.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate and improve environmental management systems and reporting processes.
• Own environmental data, ensuring consistency, accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation and standards.
• Monitor and report on carbon emissions (Scope 1, 2 and 3) and support the setting of reduction targets.
• Investigate environmental incidents and drive corrective actions.
• Engage and influence stakeholders at all levels to embed best practice and drive positive change.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing environmental programmes or systems.
• Strong understanding of environmental reporting and disclosure frameworks.
• Experience with carbon data, including Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions.
• Practical knowledge of ISO 14001 and environmental management systems.
• Relevant environmental qualification.
• Ability to analyse and communicate environmental data to diverse audiences.
