EPOS Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an EPOS Engineer to support a high‑street retailer across North England and Scotland. The contract runs from 16 July to 18 September and involves on‑site installation, fault finding and replacement of PEDS equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and replace EPOS, ATM and other IT equipment on multiple retail sites.
• Diagnose and resolve faults on EPOS and related systems.
• Travel across North England and Scotland, covering several sites per day, with possible travel on Sundays.
• Work Monday‑Friday with overtime as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an IT/EPOS/ATM engineer.
• Ability to pass a DBS criminal‑history check.
• Full UK manual driving licence (no more than six points).
• Willingness to stay away from home and cover a wide geographic area.

Required skills

• EPOS systems installation and maintenance.
• ATM systems installation and maintenance.
• General IT equipment installation.
• Fault finding on electronic point‑of‑sale equipment.
