EPOS Engineer – Retail Installation & Fault Finding

About the role

We are seeking an EPOS Engineer to replace on‑site PEDS for a high‑street retailer across North England and Scotland. The contract runs from 16 July to 18 September and involves travelling to multiple retail sites, often away from home.

Key responsibilities

• Install and commission IT, EPOS and ATM equipment at retail locations.
• Diagnose and resolve faults on EPOS and related IT systems.
• Cover multiple sites per day, with possible travel on Sundays.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and equipment status.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an IT/EPOS/ATM engineer with installation and fault‑finding duties.
• Ability to pass a DBS criminal‑history check.
• Full UK manual driving licence (≤ 6 points) and willingness to travel across North England and Scotland.
• Availability for the full contract period and flexibility for overtime.
