EQD Application Support Engineer (L2/L3)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive EQD Application Support Engineer to join a fast‑moving equities derivatives trading environment. You will help keep critical trading platforms stable, resolve production incidents and work closely with traders, developers and infrastructure teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 application support for EQD trading systems.
• Investigate and resolve production incidents (P1/P2) affecting trading.
• Perform root‑cause analysis and implement preventive improvements.
• Monitor applications proactively and address issues before they impact the business.
• Collaborate with traders, developers and infrastructure teams on releases, deployments and BAU activities.

Required profile

• Strong experience in Linux/Unix command‑line troubleshooting.
• Hands‑on scripting experience with Python and/or Bash.
• Proficient SQL skills for data analysis and troubleshooting.
• Previous application/production support experience in a trading or front‑office environment.
• Familiarity with equities or equities derivatives products.
