Equity Release Advisor (Self‑Employed)

About the role

This self‑employed position involves providing expert equity release advice to later‑life clients across the UK. You will work remotely, handling phone and virtual consultations for pre‑booked, qualified appointments.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct fact‑finds and suitability assessments for equity release products.
• Deliver professional advice via phone or video calls, building trust with clients.
• Maintain compliance with industry regulations and the Equity Release Council standards.
• Manage a personal sales pipeline, including self‑generated leads where applicable.
• Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to team performance metrics.

Required profile

• Hold a recognised Equity Release qualification.
• Minimum 18‑24 months of hands‑on equity release advising experience.
• Strong understanding of the later‑life lending market.
• Ability to work independently from home.
• Comfortable with phone/virtual client interactions and a self‑employed working model.

Required skills

• Equity Release qualification (e.g., CII, IFA).
