Equity Release Advisor – Self‑Employed (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Equity Release Advisor to join a respected independent financial advice practice. Working remotely on a self‑employed basis, you will provide professional advice to later‑life clients looking to release equity from their homes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct phone and virtual consultations with pre‑booked, qualified clients.
• Provide tailored equity release advice in line with regulatory standards.
• Maintain high conversion rates from conversation to sale.
• Generate occasional self‑sourced leads while focusing on appointed client meetings.
• Ensure compliance with the Equity Release Council guidelines.

Required profile

• Current Equity Release qualification.
• Minimum 18‑24 months of hands‑on equity release advising experience.
• Ability to work independently from home and manage a virtual client pipeline.
• Strong sales ethic with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Not required to be CAS‑authorised; non‑CAS candidates will be considered.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of the later‑life lending market.
• Proficiency in remote client communication tools.
• Experience with commission‑based sales structures.
